Welcome to the Casserole Club!  This is a new club run by MOO Food and the Development Trust where volunteers will be matched with diners throughout the village to share a portion of home cooked food and a friendly chat.

Click on the application form to read the role description, if this is something you might be interested in, we would love to hear from you!

Each new volunteer club member will receive a starter pack which includes 2 x pyrex dishes, tote bag, apron and a Casserole Club place mat to give to your new diner.

When the rules allow, the Casserole Club is all about sharing time and food so a sit down with your diner over a home cooked lunch or dinner but it can also be about taking a lovely portion of food and having a chat on the doorstep if that’s what is possible.

Although we suggest cooking and sharing food 2-3 times a month, this is just a suggestion and you do what works for you and is a realistic time commitment.  Level 2 Hygiene training is paid for and sent to for volunteers to complete online, this is approx 2 hours to complete online but if you need any help with this, please just ask.  A short training session will also be provided over zoom before getting started.

If you would be interested in finding out a little bit more about what is involved as a volunteer cook, get in touch via facebook or email lyn@moofood.org

We look forward to hearing from you!
