Do you want to grow some veg or learn to cook a new dish, but just don’t know where to start? Do you worry, “What if I do something wrong and all my plants die?” or “What if I add too much chilli and ruin this new dinner?”
We understand that it can be daunting to start growing fruit and veg, or to cook something from scratch. This is why MOO Food is developing workshops and classes to help you learn these new skills.
From preserving berries to growing veg in polytunnels. From building a compost bin to cooking a tasty leftovers curry. There is so much to be shared, and we are sure that you have skills to sharewith us too.
We believe it’s easier to learn when you’re in a welcoming and friendly environment, where workshops are taught in a steady and easy-to-access style.
Our sessions are open to anyone who wants to learn about food, and can be adapted to meet the needs of the people attending. We can offer cooking clubs for school kids, or seed planting for our elderly residents – they are all possible!
We welcome anyone to our growing and cooking sessions – whether you’re struggling yourself and want some extra help, or if you are an experienced foodie wanting to meet new people. We can learn so much from each other, and enjoy some tasty food at the same time.
